12 Mile Family Gravel Ride

Looking for a ride to do with the family? Low traffic, Low elevation change, wooded mountain environment, gravel road environment, mountain streams; this describes the ride we did on May 18, 2014. We based at Elkhorn lake and did twelve miles on route 95. The first part of the ride was slightly uphill, so we were cruising on the way out. On the way back to the vehicle we had a slight downhill coast.There are plenty of places on this gravel road to pull over and have a picnic.
