Mole Hill Bikes was started in 1986 by Gerald Knicely. Gerald, who rode his bike to a local welding shop to work each day, saw the need of a good bike shop to serve the local Old Order Mennonites, who drive their horse and buggies or ride their bikes to work and town. He started the shop in a small storage shed on his dad’s dairy farm at the foot of Mole Hill, which is a small mountain in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.

Today Mole Hill Bikes has grown to a full service cycling center, providing all types of bicycles to the local area and beyond. They still strive to provide personal service and value to each customer, as in the past.
